We offer safe, reliable, professional vehicle transportation up to 1.3 tonnes ( 1300kg ) eg Audi A2, Citroen C3, Ford Focus 1.6, Honda Civic, Mazda 323, Mini, MGB, Midget, MGF, Nissan Micra, Peugeot 306, Renault Megane, Toyota Corolla, Vauxhall Astra 5dr. We are fully insured to carry vehicles up to a value of £100,000. ( Full details available on request ). We specialise in the transport of classic cars and are able to provide new or older vehicles with the care & attention they need. Your vehicle will be loaded & transported in one operation & our time is exclusively yours for the whole journey ( so no other deliveries on the way). Autopics have a real passion for cars & will take care of yours like a priceless classic. We are based on the south coast with national coverage where applicable. Questions you should ask to ensure your vehicle is legally transported: * If a trailer is used for transportation a tachograph MUST be fitted to the towing vehicle & the driver MUST have an operator's license or your precious vehicle WILL be seized with the towing vehicle & trailer if stopped by the Vehicle Inspectorate (VOSA) * If a transporter truck is used & the combined weight of the truck & your vehicle exceeds 3.5 tonnes ( 3500kg ) the driver MUST have an operator's license and a tachograph MUST be fitted to the towing vehicle or if stopped by VOSA all vehicles will be seized. * Discuss the length & weight of your vehicle so the operator is fully aware & transporting within the legal load specifications. * Ask if transportation is contracted out.
